The Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) provides the backbone for tactical unit mobility and logistics support. Originally designed for the U.S. Army for use in extreme weather and terrain conditions, our FMTVs are outfitted with the industry?s most dependable components and design features, including drivetrains, frames, axles, suspensions, and tires that are specifically designed to withstand the rigors of the harshest and most extreme terrains, including field combat, surface mining, pipeline construction, coastal restoration, and oil and gas exploration. These vehicles are considered the most sophisticated off-road, multi-purpose military tactical vehicles in use, and are capable of operating worldwide on primary and secondary roads, as well as on trails and cross-country in weather extremes from -50°F (-46°C) to +120°F (49°C).
