M249 SQUAD AUTOMATIC WEAPON

The M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, or SAW, is a portable, gas operated, magazine or disintegrating metal link-belt fed, light machine gun with fixed headspace and quick change barrel feature. The M249 is used to engage point targets out to 800 meters. It uses 30-round AR magazines or linked ammunition.
