PRONGHORN

The Pronghorn plate carrier is a lightweight carrier designed for SAPI/ESAPI/Shooter cut plates. It can be worn with or without custom-cut soft armor inserts. The cummerbund on the Pronghorn contains six pockets that will hold a range of items such as M4 and .308 magazines, pistols, and radios. This plate carrier still provides for optional side protection and load-bearing accessories with its integrated cummerbund. It is quickly releasable at each of its four connection points and easy to put back together as well, unlike systems that use cords or strings for safety release. An integrated load-bearing belt that evenly distributes the weight of the armor and attached combat load between the hips and the shoulders in order to reduce fatigue, improve mobility and enhance combat performance. The integrated 4-point release system instantly separates the front and back plates from each other but leaves the belt on the operator so that essential gear can be retained on the body. Additionally, the design of the release system makes reassembly quick and easy.
